Subject goal |
Introducing students, future physics professors, to the process of standardization in education that provide all participants in the education process with same approach and utilize objective indicators as an accurate measure of quality in the educational work with the aim of securing a coherent system whose role is to insure a high level of quality in education. | |||
Subject outcome |
Students will have acquired skills for
accomplishing the following: - implementation of general and particular standards in planning, preparing, conducting, and evaluating the process of teaching physics; - independent research, analysis and critical thinking of standards, as well as implementation of standards in an educational institution; - further research of the teaching practice and professional development. |

1. Standards of physics contents in primary and

Competences of physics teachers; 8. Educational levels of pupils; 9. Developing tests and tasks for checking the fulfilment of standards; 10. Educational outcomes; 11. Evaluations (internal and external) of pupils’ and teachers’ achievements; 12. Self-evaluation. |

Practical work (exercises, other forms of teaching, research work) | Project: research of educational
practice. Analysis of the physics teaching program; analysis of parts of the textbook set and checking the fulfilment of standards through their indicators; creating tasks for the elementary, intermediate, and advanced level of standards in cooperation with a physics teacher; implementation of educational standards in planning the written examination of pupils’ level of knowledge; creating a monthly plan for physics along with applying achievement standards. |
