Aims of the course |
To familiarize students with the possibilities
of popularization of physics through the realization of demonstration
experiments, presentations and etc. related with the greatest achievements of
physics. |

Basic knowledge about modern achievements and
problems of physics and their presentation and demonstration of the
experiments . |
Contents of the course |
Lectures |
The course, in the first part of the semester,
consists of a series of lectures held by different teachers. Lectures theme
are connected with the most important current breakthroughs in physics (eg.
about the results for which physicists are granted the Nobel Prize in recent
years), the possibilities of performing demonstration experiments and the
like. The type of lectures is informative and popular. |
Examples/ practical classes |
In the second part of the semester, students
hold presentations of topics (optional) , produce and perform demonstration
experiments etc. |
