| Aims of the course | An overview of the important achievements of physics in the last decade. Introduction to theoretical and experimental research in moren physics. | |||

| Contents of the course | ||||
| Lectures | The course consists of a series of informative lectures and visits to research laboratories. Lectures (up to 10) are given by active researchers working at the Faculty, Institutes, or even abroad. The topics cover important current breakthroughs in physics. At the end of the semester, students are required to give fifteen minute seminars on a topic that has been previously determined. | |||
