Aims of the course To learn students with the application of meteorology in agriculture and the basic relations between climatic elements and agricultural plant.
Learning outcomes  Adoption of basic knowledge in the theory of radiation and application of radiation in the Earth - atmosphere - plant cover system. Understanding the impact of meteorology in agronomy.
Contents of the course
Lectures Solar, Earth and atmospheric Radiation. The influence of temperature, wind, humidity, fog and clouds on the plant. Precipitation and flora. Transpiration and evapotranspiration. Unfavourable weather conditions. Frost. Drought. Earth's surface and atmospheric warming. Climate, flora and fauna. Phenology. Agrometeorology forecast. Pollution and agrometeorology.
Examples/ practical classes Observations in agrometeorlogy, Determination of the active temperature sums, Determination of the depth of the zero isotherm, Forecast of frost, Precipitation data processing.                                                Seminars.
