Aims of the course Introducing students with traditional and modern ways of transferring knowledge to students of primary and secondary schools. Developing didactic knowledge necessary for the development of the competences of future physics teachers.
Learning outcomes Knowing the methods of transferring knowledge to students, ways of testing and developing students' knowledge, as well as modern ways of teacher education in order to gain competencies.
Contents of the course
Lectures Didactics as a science discipline. Teaching as an educational process. Factors of teaching process. Didactic teaching systems. Types of tasks and forms of teaching. Didactic principles. Teaching methods. Inductive and deductive approach to teaching. The teaching class and its structure. Types of school classes. Practice in teaching. Curriculum. Teaching preparation. Knowledge test. Achievement of students. Cognitive development and misconceptions. Teacher competencies. Professional teacher training.
