Aims of the course Introducing students to metrology of electrical quantities and non-electrical quantities by electrical methods.
Learning outcomes Understanding and applying electrical methods in measuring electrical and non-electrical quantities.
Contents of the course
Lectures 1. Basics of electrical measurement. 2. Processing the measurement results. 3. Standards of electrical quantities. 4. Wheatstone bridges. 5. Compensators. 6. Measurement of electrical quantities. 7. Electronic instruments. 8. Resistance measurement. 9. Capacitance measurement. 10. Inductivity measurement 11. Measurement of mutual inductance. 12. Measurement of non-electrical quantities. 13. Measurement of non-electrical quantities by resistive sensors. 14. Measurement of non-electrical quantities by capacitive sensors. 15. Measurement of non-electricquantities inductive sensors;
Examples/ practical classes Experimental exercises are following lectures.
