Aims of the course The main goal to introduce students with the basics of optics, optical components and process of designing of optical systems
Learning outcomes  Adopting various basic concepts from optics, optical components and design different optical systems and instruments.

Contents of the course
Lectures Lectures:
Theory teaching: Nature and sound transmission. sound refraction and diffraction. Diffraction, absorption, refraction and sound resonance. The human sense of hearing. Division of acoustics science and  its connection with other sciences. Noise and protection from it.
Examples/ practical classes Nature of the light transmission. Diffraction and refraction of light
on flat and spherical surfaces. Interference and diffraction of light.
Light transmission through isotropic and nonisotropic environments; Lens and lens characteristics. Eye and optometry. Optical instruments: microscope, binoculars, telescope and instruments for projections. Optical detection systems and their construction
