The course aims | The aim is to get acquainted with the way the Internet works, basic concepts as well as getting to know the possibilities of the global network, as well as training students for efficient use of the Internet primarily for professional purposes. | |||

Theoretical study | 1.
Internet, basic terms. History and evolution. Domain names, URLs, Host names,
IP addresses, protocols. 2. Network, history, technical solutions, proxy servers. 3. Browsers, using professional browsers and databases. 4. E-mail, basic terms and usage. 5. FTP, basic terms and usage. 6. Telnet, remote access and control. 7. SSH, remote access and control. 8. Remote Desktop Connection, remote access and control. 9. HTML and CSS, basic terms. 10.
