Aims of the course Introducing students with methods of presenting physical materials in elementary schools, as well as training for the application of didactic knowledge in the realization of teaching.
Learning outcomes Knowing the methods of presenting physical materials in elementary schools. Ability to plan class and define its goal, as well as select the appropriate methods of teaching physics.
Contents of the course
Lectures Methods of transferring acquired knowledge from all fields of physics to elementary school students. Adjustment of the way of teaching, in accordance with didactic principles, of new materials according to the knowledge of physics and other natural sciences and mathematics, which are possessed by elementary school students. Planning the teaching of physics in elementary school. Time planning, creation and analysis of scenarios for selected teaching units of physics in elementary school. Analysis of primary school textbooks. Principles of developing new theoretical and experimental tasks in physics for elementary school students. Working with talented students.
Examples/ practical classes Practicing classes of physics of different character, especially the classes of lecturing of new material. Practicing the formulation of qualitative, quantitative, graphic and experimental tasks in physics for elementary school students.
