Contents of the course
Lectures The theory of Probability - 1. Random events. 2. Clasical definition of Probability. 3. Conditional Probability. 4. Independence of events. 5. The one-dimensional random variables. 6. The two-dimensional random variables. 7. Numerical characteristics of random variables. 8. Distribution functions. 9. Laws of Large Numbers and Central Limit Theorem. Statistics - 10. Sample. 11. Properties of Estimators. 12.  Method of Moments and Maximum Likelihood Estimation. 13. Hypothesis testing. 14. The Chi-Square test. 15. Least-Squares Estimation.
Examples/ practical classes Using various statistical software to perform data analysis.
